Discover the best of nature and local culture with Azorean Tales, a unique experience that will take you to explore the heart of the island and the incredible world of bees.
Morning in nature: We start with a visit to the spectacular Lagoa do Fogo, one of the most iconic places in the Azores.
Beekeeping experience (2 hours): Enter the world of bees and learn about their busy daily lives. After a brief introduction to the biology of bees and safety measures, participants will explore the hives, identify the varieties, understand the organization of the hive, and maybe even meet the queen! Finally, enjoy an open-air honey tasting.
Lunch in the Lagoa area:
Savor a typical meal while enjoying the calm and beautiful surroundings.
An afternoon of culture and tradition:
Visit the historic Vieira Pottery, known for its unique handicrafts, and end the day with a visit to the emblematic Azorean Pineapple Plantation, where you will learn all about this exotic fruit.

Descubra o melhor da natureza e da cultura local com o Azorean Tales, uma experiência única que o levará a explorar o coração da ilha e o incrível mundo das abelhas.
Manhã na natureza: Começamos com uma visita à espetacular Lagoa do Fogo, um dos locais mais emblemáticos dos Açores.
Experiência apícola (2 horas): Entre no mundo das abelhas e conheça o seu quotidiano. Após uma breve introdução à biologia das abelhas e às medidas de segurança, os participantes irão explorar as colmeias, identificar as variedades, compreender a organização da colmeia e talvez até conhecer a rainha! Por fim, desfrutarão de uma prova de mel ao ar livre.
Almoço na zona de Lagoa:
Saboreie uma refeição típica enquanto desfruta de um ambiente calmo e bonito.
Uma tarde de cultura e tradição:
Visite a histórica Olaria Vieira, conhecida pelo seu artesanato único, e termine o dia com uma visita à emblemática Plantação de Ananases dos Açores, onde ficará a saber tudo sobre este fruto exótico.
