Azorean Tales values the trust of its clients and recognizes that, at times, unforeseen situations may arise that necessitate the cancellation or alteration of reservations. Therefore, we present our cancellation policy, designed to offer flexibility without compromising our ability to guarantee excellent service.
1. Cancellations with and without Notice
– Up to 24 Hours before the tour date:
Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are entitled to a full refund, with no administrative fees charged.
– Less than 24 hours before the tour start:
No refund will be provided.
2. Date Changes
– Date changes are allowed up to 72 hours before the scheduled tour date, subject to availability. If no availability exists, the option for a full refund will be offered.
– Date changes within 72 hours before the tour are allowed, but if no calendar availability exists, 50% of the reservation value will be charged.
– Date changes within 24 hours before the tour are not permitted.
3. Company-Initiated Cancellations
– Azorean Tales reserves the right to cancel or modify tours in cases of force majeure. In such cases, the following options will be offered:
– Full refund of the amount paid.
Or
– Rescheduling of the tour to a new agreed-upon date.
Or
– Full credit, redeemable for any other available tour.
Situations such as adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, holidays or important dates that prevent the tour from taking place in whole or in part, failure to meet the minimum number of participants, vehicle breakdowns, and serious illness are covered under this point. Situations such as the lack of adequate information necessary to carry out the tour, such as meeting and pick-up locations and respective confirmations, may also result in the cancellation of the tour if they cannot be obtained by the tour’s start time.
4. No-Show
– If the client does not appear at the agreed-upon location and time for the tour’s start, no refund will be granted.
– If the client refuses to participate in the tour of their own volition, no refund will be provided.
5. Cancellation and Modification Procedure
– To proceed with the cancellation or modification of your reservation, you must contact us in writing via email at booking@azoreantales.com or by phone at +351 936 674 033. All cancellations or changes will be subject to the terms of this policy.
